In response to U.S. tariffs on Canadian goods, Canadians are choosing to fight back with our wallets—starting at the breakfast table. Choosing Canadian-made products isn’t just about quality and sustainability; by picking local cereals, we can take a small but meaningful step in strengthening the Canadian economy—one spoonful at a time. Here’s a list of 10 Canadian-owned cereal brands we can support, including brands with manufacturing plants operating in Canada.
Table of Contents
Let’s not forget there are other cereal brands with factories set up in Canada; we need to support our people and their jobs.
This list is not complete; please comment with extra information and we will update the list as we go.

I want to support Canada, I will be changing my cereal to a Canadian Company one of the ones listed above. One person at a time.
With fruit, vegetables and chicken i have been buying local for years, but have been remiss with my dry cereal which is a big US brand I have been eating for over 30 years. So thank you for this list, will now be purchasing from this list. As the poster before me said, it all starts with “one person at a time.”
