In celebration of May being Asian Heritage month, and inspired by the success of the movie Slumdog Millionaire, we cast this month's spotlight on tasty Indian cuisine. Author and Vancouver Sun columnist Meeru Dhalwala, co-owner of the world-famous restaurant Vij's in Vancouver, BC, tells us how Indian cuisine is more than butter chicken.
I'm so glad that I've listened to this interview. I've never tried East Indian foods before. I would definitely give it a try - especially knowing that it has many vegetarian dishes

I've liked Indian cuisine for years because of the blending of those wonderful spices/flavors with those nutritious ingredients Ms. Dhalwala mentions. Indian cuisine is WAY MORE than just curry (which I've loved since I was very young)!
