Lung Cancer Facts

Lung cancer is the most common type of cancer worldwide. 3/4 of all cases occur in men. Lung cancer is the chief cause of death from cancer (~ 18 percent).

According to a report published by the World Cancer Research Fund in November 2007, the evidence that arsenic in drinking water and high doses of beta-carotene supplements (in smokers) are a convincing cause of lung cancer.
