Alternative Cancer Treatments

According to the National Center for Alternative and Complementary / Integrative Therapies at the National Institutes of Health, alternative medicine is broadly defined and refers to "those treatments and health care practices not taught widely in medical schools, not generally used in hospitals, and not usually reimbursed by medical insurance companies".
